This is where I'll be posting my NaNoWriMo novel of 2008, Manhole. (Don't let the name fool or throw you.) When NaNo '09 starts up, I'll be posting that, too, with appropriate tags. I've been posting it on my main journal, ugly_kitties, but in order to reach a wider audience, I've decided to extricate it from a sea of personal entries.

Thomas "Respa" Wilkins is a young male prostitute, a denizen of the New York streets trying to survive the events of his life—among them a brutal rape that leaves him disfigured, drug addiction, homelessness, and an absolute disconnection with society. Most of all, though, he's desperately in love with a schizophrenic young man who may be the most despised murderer of the century.
